Regulation Authority:

Chapter 42-17.1 "DEM"; 42-17-6; 20-2-1; 20-1-4; 20-3-2 through 20-3-6; 20-4 through 20-10; in accordance with 42-35 of the RIGL's 1956, as amended.

Purpose and Reason:

to close the commercial tautog fishery until the next sub-period begins on 08/01/02; to permit the commercial harvest, possession, and landing of spiny dogfish; raise the commercial minimum size of black sea basss; and to reduce the commercial possession of summer flounder.
